Ingredients:
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts optional
Instructions:
To melt the chocolate chips and butter in a bowl that can go in the microwave, add them one at a time and stir them around every 30 seconds
The granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and brewed coffee should all be mixed together well
Sift the cocoa powder, salt, and confectioners' sugar together in a different bowl
Slowly add the dry mix to the chocolate mix while stirring it in
Keep doing this until the fudge is smooth and well mixed
If you want, you can add the chopped walnuts now
Put parchment paper around the edges of a square baking pan and pour the fudge over it
With a spatula, smooth the top
Put it in the fridge for at least two hours, or until it sets
After the fudge has set, take it out of the pan and cut it into squares about the size of petits fours
